  • A History of Cell Development

    Polaris Battery Labs was formed in 2012 with a focused mission: to provide battery development services for consumer electronics and cell phones. From the beginning, the company was built around practical innovation and hands-on support for customers working to improve battery performance and reliability.

    In its early days, Polaris operated from just one small lab, where the team concentrated on coin cell fabrication to test new battery technologies. Those first projects laid the foundation for the company’s growth, helping establish the technical expertise and problem solving mindset that continue to guide its work.

    While Polaris has expanded beyond the small initial lab in both size and scope, the company still offers the same practical and hands-on approach to each development project. Today, Polaris continues to drive innovation with coin and pouch cell prototyping, electrochemical testing, material characterization, cell design, and a variety of other battery related services.
